Intro to Henna: A Creative Hands-On Workshop

Discover the Art of Henna

Step into a beautiful introduction to natural henna, created for curious beginners, creative souls, and anyone who wants to slow down, connect, and make something with their hands.

This is a two-hour creative experience. The first 90 minutes are dedicated to guided instruction and hands-on practice, followed by 30 minutes reserved for the small henna designs included with VIP tickets.

No previous experience or artistic training is needed. Just bring your curiosity, your hands, and a willingness to play.

Henna is an art form rooted in beauty, celebration, storytelling, and connection. This experience is designed to help you explore it with care while building real confidence from your very first lines.

What You Will Learn

You will be guided through the essential foundations of beginner henna, including:

🌿 How to comfortably hold and control a henna cone

🌿 How to create clean lines, dots, teardrops, leaves, curves, and ornamental details

🌿 How pressure, movement, and pace affect your application

🌿 How to combine simple elements into flowing patterns

🌿 Helpful techniques for smoother application and more confident designs

🌿 How to begin understanding flow and composition

There will be plenty of time to practice, ask questions, experiment, and enjoy the creative process without pressure to make something perfect.

A Hands-On Creative Experience

Throughout the workshop, you will have access to thoughtfully prepared practice materials designed to make learning easier and more enjoyable.

You will practice with:

🌸 Laminated blank hand templates for free creativity

🌸 Guided hand templates to help you understand pattern flow and composition

🌸 Beginner activity sheets for foundational practice

🌸 Fresh natural henna cones for use during class

You are also welcome to practice on yourself or with a friend during the hands-on portion of the workshop.

Only natural henna is used during this experience. Black henna is never used.

Choose Your Experience

Intro Workshop Ticket • $35

Includes the full guided workshop experience, grounding meditation, activity sheets, laminated practice hands, classroom materials, and use of a fresh natural henna cone during class.

Henna cones and reusable workshop materials remain with the instructor at the end of class.

VIP Henna Experience • $45

Includes everything in the Intro Workshop Ticket, plus:

✨ Your own fresh natural henna cone to take home and continue practicing

✨ A small henna design personally created for you by Nikolazza at the end of the workshop

The final 30 minutes of the experience are reserved for VIP henna designs.

A Moment to Slow Down and Create

We will begin with a short grounding meditation to help you arrive, settle into the space, and enter the creative process with presence.

There is no pressure to create something perfect.

This is a space to learn, experiment, connect, and allow your hands to discover something new.

Important Notes

This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed for ages 12 and up.

Younger participants are welcome when accompanied by a participating adult. Both the child and accompanying adult will need their own ticket.

Advance registration is required so materials and fresh henna can be properly prepared for every participant.
