Tattoo Agreement with Consuelo Nikolazza
This agreement is here to protect both of our time and create clear expectations throughout the tattoo process. Please read carefully before booking.
1. Deposit
A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your appointment and begin the design process.
The deposit will always be credited toward the final tattoo price when the scheduled tattoo is completed.
2. Payment
The remaining balance is due at the end of your tattoo session.
Payments may be made by cash, Zelle, or Venmo.
3. Rescheduling and Cancellations
You may reschedule one time with at least 48 hours' notice and transfer your deposit to the new date.
A second reschedule requires a new $100 deposit.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice and no-shows result in loss of the deposit.
4. Late Arrivals
Arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice may result in cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of your deposit.
If you let me know you are actively on your way, I may wait up to 30 minutes, depending on my schedule that day.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, even with notice, your $100 deposit will be forfeited and will no longer be credited toward the final tattoo price.
If the appointment can still proceed, the tattoo session may continue with the remaining available time.
Please understand that arriving late may affect what can reasonably be completed during the session.
No-shows or cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice result in loss of the deposit.
5. Original Design Concept
Your tattoo quote and approximate size are based on the concept discussed during your consultation, including the elements, placement, style, size, colors, and references provided.
Please communicate all important elements you want included before the design process begins.
Anything requested afterward that was not part of the original agreed-upon concept may be considered additional design work.
6. Revisions
Your custom tattoo includes up to three revision rounds before final design approval.
A revision means adjusting something that was already included in the agreed-upon design.
Examples include changing the size or position of an existing element, adjusting spacing, simplifying a detail, or making a small compositional change.
Each revision round may include up to three minor adjustments.
Additional revision rounds are $25 each.
7. Final Design Approval
Once you confirm in writing that the design is approved, perfect, ready, finalized, or otherwise clearly communicate that you are happy with it, the design will be considered final approved artwork.
Final approval closes the included revision process.
Any unused revision rounds expire once the design is approved.
Changes requested after final approval are considered new design work and start at $25.
Once a design has been approved, I am not required to reopen or modify the artwork without additional compensation.
8. Design Additions
Adding something that was not included in the original agreed-upon concept is not considered a revision.
Examples include adding another flower, animal, symbol, star, moon, sun, word, date, ornament, background element, or other imagery.
Design additions start at $30 and may cost more depending on complexity and design time.
New elements may also require increasing the tattoo size so that the design remains readable and ages properly.
9. Removing or Replacing Requested Elements
If you request an additional element and I spend time designing or incorporating it, that design work remains billable even if you later decide to remove it.
Replacing it with another new element may result in an additional design fee.
10. Major Concept Changes
Changing the main subject, style, placement, composition, or several important elements may be considered a major concept change rather than a revision.
Major changes may require additional design fees, a new quote, a different tattoo size, or additional preparation time.
11. Appointment Day Changes
Your appointment time is reserved primarily for tattooing.
Small final adjustments to placement, lines, dots, spacing, or size may be accommodated.
Major redesigns, new elements, or significant concept changes requested on the day of the appointment are not included in the original design process and may require additional fees.
12. Design Communication
Important design requests, additions, changes, and approvals should be communicated in writing whenever possible.
Reference images are welcome, but please clearly explain which parts of the references are important to you.
I cannot be responsible for ideas or elements that were never communicated during the consultation or design process.
13. Artistic Integrity
By booking with me, you trust my professional judgment as an artist and tattooer.
I may recommend adjustments to size, spacing, line weight, detail, placement, or composition when necessary for readability, longevity, and the best possible tattoo result.
14. Age and Identification and minors
All adult clients must present a valid government-issued photo ID on the day of the tattoo session.
Clients under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian and must provide a birth certificate or other required documentation confirming the relationship.
The parent or legal guardian must also present a valid government-issued photo ID.
The parent or legal guardian must be present for the entire tattoo session. A minor cannot be dropped off or left alone at any point during the appointment.
If the required identification or documentation is not provided, the tattoo session cannot proceed.
15. Guests and Studio Policy
Up to two guests are allowed with prior approval.
Children are not permitted in the studio.
Please maintain respectful behavior toward artists, staff, and other clients.
16. Preparation, Health and Aftercare
Please arrive clean, sober, well-rested, hydrated, and nourished.
Inform me of any medical condition, medication, allergy, or skin condition that may affect your tattoo or healing.
Tattooing carries normal risks including irritation, bleeding, allergic reactions, infection, scarring, and variations in healing.
Following proper aftercare instructions is the client's responsibility.
17. Intellectual Property
All original tattoo designs created by Consuelo Nikolazza remain my intellectual property.
Designs may not be copied, reproduced, sold, traced, commercially used, or taken to another tattoo artist for reproduction without written permission.
